I received my adapter before the wireless router (also EnGenius) and setup an ad hoc connection. Windows 7 found the adapter right after I connected it to a usb port. It is a small but stylish adapter. I like everything about it. After that it was just a matter of using Windows 7 Network and Sharing Center to setup the connection.
Of course, once the router arrived, it was a snap to setup the network, since Windows 7 had no problems finding the adapter and router. To setup a network using a router, plug in the wireless adapter and then follow the instructions for setting up the router. Easy installation and use, and low price makes each EnGenius product an excellent value.

The product is good (better than the wdtv live that I previously owned) but some of my files (usually 1080p) are played with some kind of lag (a greenish color appear on the screen).
Other than that, I am happy with the purchase.

Belkin Wireless G Desktop Card F5D7000 - Network adapter - PCI - 802.11b, 802.11g Review

Belkin Wireless G Desktop Card F5D7000 - Network adapter - PCI - 802.11b, 802.11g
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got the wireless card for my PC and installed it with minor difficulty. It worked just "OK" for 8 months or so. Within that time period I had to troubleshoot with Belkin technical support about 4 times. They were nice, maybe a bit condescending. The fact is that I do not have a second job maintaining my computer and I expect the support to be supportive without making me feel like a dummy. But, those are minor annoyances at best.
Anyway, after the 8 months or so my computer unexpectedly froze and I could not get on my network, yet the wireless networks of my neighbors COULD be found. Huh? I called Belkin and (to their credit) they did not pretend to not know what the problem was. With little hesitation they said the card was defective. I was transferred three times and told they would replace it at no cost. While at this point I did not want any more Belkin products, since they were replacing it at no cost to me...what did I have to lose?
OK, they asked for a credit card number so that if I didn't return my defective card in 20 days they would charge my card $43 and change. That seemed fair. We did this arrangement on a Wednesday afternoon. However, less than two hours later I was looking at my records and saw they already charged me for the card! I called back and said I did not understand...Blekin told me one thing and did another...major pet peeve of mine! I asked them to stop the order and just credit my card. No one asked me WHY, but I didn't care anymore. Just credit me. I was placed on hold while they "undid" the order placed two hours earlier. Grrrrrr.
The customer service person said that he undid the order, but they would have to call me back this afternoon to confirm my cancellation...ISN'T THAT WHAT WE WERE DOING NOW???? Guess who didn't get a call?
I received an e-mail the next day about how to return my defective card after I receive the new one. I e-mailed back that I had cancelled and did and just wanted my credit. No one responded. I e-mailed again on Saturday. No word again.
On Monday I got an e-mail saying that the card already shipped and that there was nothing they could do! I tried to reach this particular customer service person and ...gasp...she was not at her desk! I sent her an e-mail telling her the entire situation and that I would not buy Belkin EVER again.
Never heard back on that. By the way, I was frustrated but not venting in my e-mail. I had legitimate gripes!
I received the card but left it in the box...went and added my defective card and copies of my previous e-mails and mailed it to Belkin...they rec'd it two weeks ago and have yet to credit me. I called cust service a few days ago and gave them my return authorization number, my case number, and the tracking number to prove the cards were rec'd by Belkin. The cust service person even complimented me on my having all the info. AUGH! He said he would send my request to be credited to the return dept and since I had all the info I should see a credit in a couple of days.
No such luck. This isn't about $43. This is about a company that promises one thing and then hangs up the phone and does another. I still have the router, but will be donating that soon. I *did* ask for a company credit in lieu of the card, and that would have been fine, but then it is not transferrable and I am not planning on going anywhere near Belkin products again. I had hoped to donate the credit with the router and maybe someone in need would have better luck.
Forget about it. STAY AWAY. I so wish I had spent a few bucks more for a better company and product. If I could give Belkin zero stars, I would.

I got this router because it said it had an easy setup. It somewhat is but every time you get on the internet with any device that connects with this router you have to login to the router, that suxs! Then the wireless is hit and miss. Some times it works some times it won't.
I'm sending it back. Bought a Rosewill RNX-Easy400, cheap but it works like a charm!

Medialink - 7-Port High Speed USB 2.0 Powered Hub - NEW Desktop Design w/Weighted Base Review

Medialink - 7-Port High Speed USB 2.0 Powered Hub - NEW Desktop Design w/Weighted Base
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I received this USB Hub as a gift, and found it to be a very nice product. Very useful and flexible.
My Windows Vista computer had 4 USB ports in the back, and two in the front (6 total). Plugged into my computer's USB ports all the time are 5 devices: speakers (separate power), flatbed scanner (separate power), inkjet printer (separate power), GPS training watch (USB power) and wireless hub for mouse/keyboard (USB power). My 6th and final USB port I've been using for a film/slide scanner, which causes problems when I need to also recharge my iPod Touch, because I don't have any more ports left. So, when I received this USB Hub, I was excited to give it a try.
It says that it can be used without power, which is nice. To put that claim to the test, I plugged in all six devices (speakers, flatbed, printer, watch, wireless mouse, and film scanner) into it. Everything worked fine, including the two devices that ran on USB power. Needless to say, I was pleased.
As a final test, I plugged in a Toshiba external hard drive. I figured it would not work because it requires a powered USB port, but had to try it anyway. As expected, it did not work. However, as soon as I added the included AC adapter to the USB Hub, the external drive came to life. I had all seven ports on this hub in use, and it worked great.
In the end, I ended up leaving in the speakers, flatbed, printer and film scanner (all the separately powered devices) and not using the AC adapter on the USB Hub. This allowed me to free up those two USB ports on the front of my computer.
A few final comments...
There are no written instructions included other than what is on the back of the box. That should not be a problem as you simply plug it into your computer. Although, some folks might think they need the AC adapter when they do not in all cases.
The blue LEDs on the device are NOT annoying like a lot of lights being used today. You can set this on your desktop and it won't bug you when the room lights are out.
The USB ports are nicely spaced, making it easy to plug things into the USB Hub.
The USB cable for the Hub is 5 feet long. The cable for the AC power supply is 6 feet. This should give you flexibility on where you place the hub. (One side comment: I wish AC power suppliers would label what they are for. Or, at least provide some white space to write on it using a Sharpie. It would make it easier when trying to figure out what adapter goes with a device.)
Of the various USB Hubs I've used over the years, this is my favorite so far.

I have just installed one of these, and it seems to work just fine. I did need help from the manufacturer's tech support folks, though, and that is why I have written this review. The phone number in the materials that came with the router will not help you; you get a recording asking you for a PIN, which is not supplied with the router. THE PHONE NUMBER TO CALL is (626) 606-3108; the friendly woman I spoke with there patiently talked me through the installation.

Average Reviews:

If you have this router, it was either b/c it was free with some kind of promotion or it was on sale real cheap on your local store. This is a just a real quick rundown of pros and cons.
Pros
- Good Connectivity b/c of the external antenna, my upstairs computer gets 150 mbps Wireless N most of the time, with the router set up downstairs
- Really easy to set up with the CD, experts will able to breeze through the intuitive Router Homepage to set customized settings
- Easy to forward ports
- Small dimensions
Cons
- It feels real cheap, almost like a throw away plastic toy
- Firewall closes vulnerable ports, but it does not/you cannot stealth them which is an absolutely bizarre design decision
- It may be underpowered CPU/Ram wise for Wireless N in you compare it to the typical specs for Wireless N for big brands like Cisco, Trenda, Netgear etc etc
Been using it for a day and it has been stable. So far it is doing everything I am telling it to do including torrenting Pioneer One, online gaming, and general internet use without any stability problems. If the router starts to become unstable I will update this review.

I have the same 4402 setup up as a (WDS)repeater. It works great with my X6 router. I looked up Zoom FAQ and got the detail instruction how to setup the WDS (repeater). It is straight forward instruction. No time I got it up and running. I setup the device at building one with the X6 and building two with the 4402(WDS)(Repeater). That more than 50ft of distance. It works perfectly fine. Reset the device back to factory default setting and give it another try. If that don't work, you might have a faulty unit and return for RMA.
Below is the link to the Zoom FAQ site. LoL. Hope this help...

this router is working great for me as a repeater/internet bridge. I must say that initially i was confused during configuration as it seemed that if i made a change using the web interface and applied it, sometimes i would notice that something i did earlier would get wiped out. this may have been intentional (for example my changes may have been in conflict), because when i used the 'one click setup' option in the web interface everything worked just fine. The router has been working consistently for 2 months now and i have never had to reboot it.

I own a computer that utilizes Windows Vista (64 bit) and was not having success installing wireless adapters from two reputable companies. At this point I was ready to cut open walls and run the ethernet cable to my computer. I mentioned the problem to my computer geek cousin and he told me to purchase a medialink wireless adapter as it supports Windows Vista 32 and 64. So I googled the wireless adapter and found that Amazon carried it. So I went to Amazon.com and there it was in the medialink adapter's product information, compatible with Vista 32 and 64. At $29.99 ( $10.00 cheaper then the previous two adapters), I thought it was worth the risk. I recieved it two days later and proceeded to install the medialink wireless G USB adapter and again no success. At this point I'm ready to punch a hole in the wall out of frustration. I finally decided to contact Mediabridge to convey my dissatisfaction. The phone was picked up after one ring and a customer service person rerouted me to technical support. Technical support picked up after one ring and I'm thinking to myself, this is amazing, no machine telling me to push buttons. After running several test on my computer with technical support, I still was not wireless. The tech support person, who was professional and knowledgable, recommended trying their wireless-N USB adapter. He said Mediabridge will ship it out right away at no cost. I received the wireless-N adapter the following day (again, amazing). I install it and within five minutes I was wireless. The installation was a snap. I'm on the internet several hours a day and I haven't had any problems at all. I forget sometimes that I'm wireless. At the price Mediabridge is charging for their wireless adapters, this is a steal. Kudos to Mediabridge for backing their products and lowering my blood pressure. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality wireless adapter at a great price.

Well, now having the need for a wireless N network I did a bit of research into which router I should buy. After reading so many positive reviews, I kept teetering on whether or not I should try this one out... especially since I hadn't heard of the company and the price point was so low. Eventually I figured "what could it hurt" and ordered it. I immediately got an email from the company thanking me for the order which included the support information if needed. That was a nice touch.
The bottom line is that I'm VERY glad I ordered this. Set up was a breeze if you follow the very simple instructions to the letter. I was up and running in minutes.
My other concern was how well it would sing with my Cisco Wireless N Bridge(The Cisco-Linksys WET610N Dual-Band Wireless-N Gaming and Video Adapter)in my living room which is notoriously finicky with non-Cisco product integration. I'm very pleased to report that it immediately started communicating once set up, and has been rock solid for 3 days streaming Hi Def 720p and 1080p video. The signal strength is fantastic and has out performed other routers I have owned in the past. Time will tell how it holds up over the long run. I will update this post if anything goes awry.
Finally as icing on the cake, the router just looks cool. Thats always a happy bonus!
The only negative I could find is that the tech support line isn't 24 hours. Seeing as how I didn't need it, I suppose that really isn't a negative in the truest sense.
I'm a heavy Amazon user who doesn't even write reviews yet felt compelled to for this gem. A Great product, at a great price, and easy set up. Who could ask for more?
