(More customer reviews)The fact that this phone handles only one line is somewhat hidden, I will agree. However, with some quick research, you will find that there are few SIP phones that will handle two lines without getting into the Cisco series phones, by which time you're already into the $300-$400 range. And thats still corded! Granted, there are options like the Sipura SIP841 (which I own), which will do 2 lines, and 4 with a license, for only $99 or so. But that's neither here nor there.
The Uniden UIP1869V is a solid phone. Simple to set up. Easy to use. My only real gripe is the inability to sync the addressbook of the cordless handset(s) automagically with the base station. But I can live with it, I'll just make sure I enter new entries on the base station, and push them from there. Otherwise, setup was simple. Enter the MAC address on the Vonage activate page, and you're done. I added QOS rules into my Netscreen to guarantee bandwidth, and I have crystal clear calls.
