I'm looking for a replacement, or some new antenna's to put on here. Sadly, I can't find the size for them ANYWHERE. :\

(More customer reviews)This adapter has served me very well. It was a replacement for a Linksys USB 802.11B NIC.
The D-Link fits into any free PCI slot, and it has an external antenna that is connected to the PCI card via a cable that is about 3' long - it would be nice if this was longer so that you have better placement options. The antenna itself has a flat circular base, so it will stand upright on a flat surface.
I was amazed when I started using this NIC, many other Wireless LANS appeared when I scanned for networks (many of them unsecured!). This gives me much better reception than my old Linksys.
One caveat is that if you are installing this in place of some other adapter, make sure you uninstall the older adapter software to avoid confusion.

MSI PC60G Wireless 11g Turbo G PCI Card Review

(More customer reviews)I had nothing but trouble with the Netgear wireless PCI card (NETGEAR WG311 Wireless-G PCI Adapter) that came with my XP PC. It kept locking up my PC at the worst possible times, and nothing I tried, even with the help of Netgear's tech support, was able to eliminate the problem. An attempted Trendnet replacement (Trendnet TEW423PI 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless PCI) was worse; I couldn't even get any driver to load. In contrast, this MSI Turbo mode wireless PCI card has worked like a charm and with its little separate antenna gets a much better signal from my wireless router. This is an inexpensive wireless PCI card that is compatible with my XP PC system and that instantly resolved my PC's locking-up problem.

(More customer reviews)I like this little gem. I had a PCI wireless card for my desktop that was several years old and no longer supported by the manufacturer. I needed to upgrade, but I wanted a USB wireless adapter this time around. I wanted to get it out from the bottom of my desk so I could a better signal. I had certain requirements for my new purchase. It couldn't cost any more than $45. It had to be USB. And it had to have some sort of USB extention cable or cradle. It had to be reviewed by Windows Vista users. It also had to have excellent reception. I don't have a big house, but there were a lot of walls and electronics near and in between the Access Point and my computer.
After searching I found the DLink Wireless G adapater fit the bill. I picked it up for $30 (at least $10 less than local stores). All of the reviews talked about great reception, even indepent review sites. And it had the USB craddle I was looking for. I bought it and got free shipping along with it! What a Deal!
I've had this little gem installed for about one month now, I coudn't be happier. It gets great reception. This adapter runs absolutely great with Vista. I am also using the included connection software and it plays very well with Vista.
The only downside is the optional craddle. It requires either a direct computer USB port, or a powered USB hub with an external power supply. It draws more mA than a non-powered hub can handle (at least it did on mine). I had to use the power supply on my USB hub to get the craddle to work. This is the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed.
